Topic Professor Horita won the 2025 GDN Section Award
堀田教授がINFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences）の2025年度 GDN Section Awardを受賞しました。
GDN Section Awardは、社会的意思決定・交渉の分野における研究、および顕著な貢献を称えるものです。
インフラ事業における合意形成やゲーム理論応用のための方法論開発など、マルチステークホルダー環境における複雑な意思決定に重要な貢献をしてきたことや、第23回GDN国際会議の総合委員長、Group Decision and Negotiation Journalの編集委員を務めたことなどが評価されました。
Professor Horita has been awarded the 2025 GDN Section Award by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). The GDN Section Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to research in the field of Group Decision and Negotiation and/or outstanding contributions to the GDN Section.
His work in GDN with particular emphasis on infrastructure planning and public participation processes, along with complex decision-making in multi-stakeholder environments and methodology development for game theory applications has been honored. Also it was acknowledged that Professor Horita organized the 23rd GDN Conference in Tokyo as conference chair and served as a long-standing editorial board member of the GDN Journal.
